Sweet Potato Squash Delight!

Do you want a delicious meal with none of the guilt and an immense array of vitamins and minerals? Try this Sweet Potato Squash delight from my 10 Day Remodel Program:


  • 2 cup, cubes (4.9 oz) Fresh or Dried Vegetables: Squash, Winter, Butternut, raw
  • 2 whole [6 oz as purchased, 5″ long] (4.3 oz) Fresh or Dried Vegetables: Sweet Potato, raw
  • 0.25 cup (8.0 fl.oz) Rice Dream: Rice Drinks: Classic, Original
  • 0.5 teaspoon (0.1 oz) Herbs & Spices: Cinnamon, ground, powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon (0.1 oz) Herbs & Spices: Ginger, ground
  • 3 tablespoon (0.4 oz) Manitoba Harvest: Seeds: Hemp Hearts, Raw Shelled Hemp, Natural or Organic



1 medium butternut squash, cut into chunks 2 medium to large sweet potatoes, cut int chunks 1/2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp cinnamon Dash of nutmeg 1/4 cup rice (or coconut) milk Preheat oven to 350 degrees, steam squash and sweet potato until tender. Remove peels and puree in food processor, Add ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and rice or coconut milk (add enough to match the consistency of mashed potatoes). Put mixture into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Bake for 15 minutes. (Add 3 tbsp of Hemp Seeds or Hearts for Added protein). Nutrition info reflects adding hemp seeds.
