When it comes to dieting, you probably think you know the basic tips: Eat right, exercise, sleep, and avoid too much alcohol. However, there are actually some sneaky and surprising ways you can cut calories and lose weight.

Always take cold showers Hack #326. Taking a cold shower helps to activate good fat (brown fat) to burn bad fat (white fat) as energy. Brown fat also helps to improve circulation as well as reduce inflammation and repairing muscles.
Use public toilets Hack #342. Gross! Now, many people avoid public toilets but this can be detrimental to our health and will also contribute towards constipation. If you need the toilet and keep resisting the urge because you are not at home, you are more than likely going to get constipated! Not to mention, hovering is a great way to work out those legs and glutes, lol!
Get tight skin in the bath Hack #357. Bathe your way to tight skin. Another crazy trick celebrity, bodybuilders, and even my crazy self has done is to take a baking soda bath! Bathe in 2 cups of Epsom salt (or a couple boxes of baking soda) in hot water for about 30 minutes and your skin will be tight. Epsom salt or baking soda is a safe and inexpensive way to neutralize your body and detoxify from the typical western diet of fried foods and high acid consumption, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, and medications.
Wrap your abs Hack #358. Hemorrhoid cream is used to pull fluid out of hemorrhoids and it works in the same manner on your abs! Slather your stomach and back with it (may be best to test a small area beforehand for any allergic reaction), then saran wrap around your torso and go to bed. Now this isn’t the most restful sleep you will ever have, but you will wake up with a pool of sweat collected in the wrap and your skin will be tighter…at least for the day!
Never do HIIT before weights Hack #205: Performing ‘steady state’ cardio before weights can be really effective as your body is burning fat and you still have the ability to lift and complete your sets. However, ‘high intensity’ cardio will have the opposite effect and it will interfere with your anaerobic process as well as reduce your power when lifting!
